O amor em visita (Love on a visit)

No Meio da Confusão is a short film by the Portuguese filmmaker Catarina Barata. In the spring of 2012, she invited Jasper Džuki Jelen and Mojra Vogelnik Škerlj to collaborate on her project, in which she explored how intimacy can be translated from dance to film. The physical, wordless communication between Jelen and Vogelnik Škerlj provided Barata with the building blocks to shape her personal reflection on society. She chose the desolate and breathtaking landscape of Sintra in southern Portugal as the setting.

The film was selected for the Video-dance showcase in 2015 and was screened in a number of cities across Portugal; it was also shown at the Videomovimiento Festival in Colombia.

The dance material from No Meio da Confusão was developed by Jelen and Vogelnik Škerlj in 2014 into the duet In the Midst of Everything (previously performed at the Chassé Theatre during Scènes live). This process was one of the reasons for founding The100Hands Foundation together.
